Lisa Leonard Designs Giveaway!!

Oh, yes, I told you this was a good one, didn’t I? If you travel in the same blog circles I do, I know you’ve seen her and her fabulous handmade jewelry around. In case you’ve been living under a rock, go visit Lisa Leonard Designs now. I’ll wait.

So, I had entered quite a few of her giveaways, fingers crossed, and last month it finally happened…I won a $50 gift certificate! It took me a couple weeks to finally decide what to order.

I had always wanted one of her Teeny Tiny Initials necklaces.

But I also loved the Open Circle Necklace (there’s a bracelet version too).

This Oval Monogram Necklace is scrumptious…classic and modern at the same time. Unfortunately, my monogram is HAB, or alternatively if I use my maiden name as my middle name, HAM. Not good. You may have better luck if your last name does not start with a vowel.

Your hubby would get big points for getting you the Kisses and Hugs Necklace (subtract a couple if you suggest it to him in the first place).

With all this loveliness to choose from, it was a hard decision to make, but I finally settled on the Be Still Necklace.

I don’t know Lisa’s story behind the name, but it made me think of Psalm 46:10 “Be still and know that I am God”. The design itself reminded me of the scripture in Matthew 6 which says “look at the birds of the air” and “consider the lilies of the field”. God takes care of them, and are you not much more valuable than they? Don’t worry! (My paraphrase.) I thought it was a good thing to be reminded of.

My necklace arrived, charmingly packaged, and I have worn it nearly every day since. I absolutely love it!
