A Post About Nothing

Well, after all that, I’m at a loss for material today!  I think still having the Christmas decorations up is dragging me down.  Normally we would have packed it all up this past weekend, but Craig volunteered to paint, so I sure wasn’t going to hinder that by asking him to haul all the Rubbermaid bins up from the basement.

Hopefully before too long I will have a powder room makeover to show you; there are still several things to finish up.

Okay, I’ve seriously been sitting here in a half-stupor for the last hour and a half trying to come up with something for you.  All I’ve come up with is a question that’s been haunting me for years:  if possums are nocturnal, and they sleep hanging in trees, how come you never see possums hanging in trees in the day time?

Clearly it’s time for me to hit the sack.

I will leave you with a picture that’s got my wheels a-spinning, which may be a bit of a hint of things to come.  Maybe.

OOOooh!

I am so jealous of your clean, pristine room. As a result of a longer than expected remodeling project from Christmas break, my living room is still buried under the contents of my bedroom, craft and sewing closets with my Christmas stuff under there somewhere, too.

I think I am about to lose my mind!

We went to a petting zoo this past summer and they told us that possums don't really sleep in trees by their tails - their tails aren't strong enough. There, now you can rest easy :-)

Hahaha, what a good question about the possums. But I see that Donna, ahead of me, answered your question. One nigt while driving home, something ran in the road in front of our car - a few yards away. I thought it was a possum - but my husband had no idea what they were. Apparently they dont' have them in Northern Ontario. We came to a conclusion that it was a rat! Now who would have thought I would ever leave that sort of comment on your blog. I've probably thoroughly grossed you out - I'm grossed out too. Now I need to go put my Christmas decor away. My husband isn't offering to paint anything.

I call this "blog block."
It happens--sometimes you can't do anything but wait for the light bulb to come on. :)

Mandi - your husband is crazy!! There are possums all over Ontario :)

Holly - I hope your mind is at ease now that you know they don't really sleep in trees :)

Oh, I am having the same block as you! Good luck! And about the possums, you learn something new every day! :)
