Christmas Past

Well, it’s all over. The day or so after Christmas I always feel a little bit like this picture looks…a little bit let down, a little bit droopy. But the older I get, the the shorter-lived that feeling is, and the quicker I want to get everything back to normal.

I hope you and yours had a lovely, fun-filled Christmas. We enjoyed our day, snug and cozy at home in our pajamas during a Christmas snowfall.

I know some of you will still have festivities and family get-togethers in the upcoming week. As for us, we are braving the crowds today to go buy some fish to put in the aquarium the boys got.

Whether you are still celebrating, or dealing with the aftermath, have a great weekend!

Merry Christmas! I'm feeling a bit of the letdown droopiness myself today. I'm sure in a few days, I'll be back to normal :)

Hi Holly/ I know exactly what you mean. The day after Christmas mother had the tree down so fast the needles didn't even have time to drop. She always said it looked depressing after Christmas and with the packages gone. I used to do the same thing. But now I like to leave it up till the 1st but we didn't have one this year.

I hope you have a beautiful New Year...Tracy :)

It does always seem like a little bit of a let down, but I too am ready to get things back in order. Glad that your day was a good one. Wishing you a blessed New Year.

I didn't have that feeling THIS
year. But I know of what you speak.
We are having a great time with friends and family plus all of our Christmas snow!

Happy New Year!
